Brief description of programme: The research Master’s Degree requires the student to submit a dissertation on a relevant topic within the academic field of Public Management and Governance. A lecturer within the Department would act as supervisor for the study. Admission requirements: A Honours Degree in Public Management/Public Administration/Public Governance, or an equivalent RPL qualification or compliance with 65% for all modules attempted and 65% in the research component (at Honours level), is required in order to be admitted to this programme. An application for this programme must be accompanied by a research proposal of approximately eight pages in a prescribed format, which is available on request from the Department, together with guidelines on how to draft the proposal.
