Sol Plaatje University Online Application for 2021:
Solomon Tshekisho Plaatje (9 October 1876 – 19 June 1932) was a South African intellectual, journalist, linguist, politician, translator and writer. Plaatje was a founder member and first General Secretary of the South African Native National Congress (SANNC), which became the African National Congress (ANC). The Sol Plaatje Local Municipality, which includes the city of Kimberley, is named after him, as is the Sol Plaatje University in this city, which opened its doors in 2014.
How to Apply online at Sol Plaatje University for 2021
Sol Plaatje University has implemented a new online application system for prospective students to apply to study at the institution and there is now no application fee.
To apply online, students must have a valid email address and use a computer with internet connectivity.
Applications must be completed online as the University will not accept manual applications.
Applicants are encouraged to download and read the Guidelines on how to apply online document before beginning the online application process.
Should applicants encounter difficulties using the online application system, they can send an email message to the Admissions Office on applications@spu.ac.za.
Admission Requirements and APS Score Requirements at Sol Plaatje University
The University has set the minimum academic requirements for admission to SPU’s study programmes in 2021.
The requirements are based on the results that applicants achieve in the South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Applicants who hold certificates from a different examination system will be considered individually for admission.
Note that if you satisfy the minimum admission requirements stated here, this does not automatically mean that you will be admitted to the study programme at SPU.
The final decision on your admission will be based on your academic performance and the availability of space in the programme.
The better your academic performance above this minimum, the better your chance of being admitted to study at SPU in 2021.
