Step 1 – Check If You Meet the Admission Requirements

To qualify for the BEngTech in Electrical Engineering, applicants must hold a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with:

  • Mathematics or Technical Mathematics at level 5
  • Physical Sciences or Technical Sciences at level 5
  • Three additional subjects at level 4
  • A minimum APS of 30

Life Orientation and subjects achieved at level 1 are not considered when calculating the APS.
