The Inland School Calendar for 2024: South Africa

The Inland School Calendar for 2024: As South Africa continues to grow and develop, education remains a top priority for the government and its citizens. One important aspect of education is the academic calendar, which sets the dates for the start and end of the school year, as well as holidays and breaks. The Inland School Calendar for 2024 has been released, and here is a closer look at what it entails.

The Inland School Calendar for 2024 follows a similar pattern to previous years, with the school year starting in January and ending in December. The first term runs from January 10 to March 13, followed by a two-week break. The second term runs from April 1 to June 14, followed by a three-week winter break. The third term runs from July 8 to September 20, followed by a one-week break. The fourth and final term runs from October 7 to December 4, followed by a six-week summer break.

In addition to these term dates, the calendar also includes a number of public holidays and school holidays. Public holidays such as New Year’s Day, Freedom Day, Youth Day, Heritage Day, and Christmas Day are observed, along with other important dates such as Good Friday, Easter Monday, and Mandela Day. School holidays include the two-week break in March, the three-week winter break in June and July, and the one-week break in September.

The Department of Basic Education published the school calendar for 2024 on 4 August 2022.
