As we have already mentioned, the Bill of Rights affects anyone who lives in South Africa. It is important to know which exact rights are mentioned in the Bill of Rights.

10 Rights in the Bill of Rights

The 10 rights which are found in the Bill of Rights are the following:

  1. Rights to Equality
  2. Rights to Human dignity
  3. Rights to Life
  4. Rights to Freedom and security of the person
  5. Protection from Slavery, servitude and forced labour
  6. Rights to Privacy
  7. Rights to Freedom of religion, belief and opinion
  8. Rights to Freedom of expression
  9. Rights to Freedom of assembly, demonstration, picket and petition
  10. Rights to Freedom of association
