This document is the Term 2 2026 Revision Activity Book for Grade 12 Accounting, issued by the Western Cape Education Department, covering inventory valuations, fixed assets, cost accounting/manufacturing, and reconciliations. It opens with study tips and a pre-test on basic knowledge for each of the four topics, followed by activities sourced from various provincial 2025 exam papers: inventory valuation questions on weighted average, FIFO, and specific identification methods, mark-up and stock turnover calculations, and stock control problem-solving; fixed asset activities on asset disposal accounts, depreciation, fixed asset registers, and insurance claims; manufacturing activities on factory overhead cost notes, production cost statements, break-even point calculations, and abridged income statements; and reconciliation activities on debtors’ and creditors’ age analyses, creditors’ reconciliation statements, and bank reconciliation statements.
Grade 12 students will find this activity book useful because they can practise a wide range of exam-style questions on each Term 2 topic and build the calculation skills and formats needed for the NCS examination.
