How to pass Plumbing Theory N1
Plumbing Theory N1 is marked as a trade theory paper, so the way you revise for it matters as much as the hours you put in.
- Procedure questions want steps in the right order. Number them and keep each step to one action.
- Learn component and tool names exactly as the syllabus writes them. A description in your own words rarely gets the full mark.
- Safety, PPE and regulation answers are marks you can bank. They appear in nearly every paper and the wording barely changes.
- Sketch when a question allows it. A labelled sketch often earns marks a paragraph would not.
- Work through the papers on this page under exam conditions, then mark yourself honestly against the memorandum. Doing three papers properly beats skimming ten.
