The type of higher education institutions that Lindiwe can attend in order to study environmental sciences in South Africa are
- Universities that offer mainly degrees (traditional universities). Lindiwe can study at these institutions if she wants to follow a profession such as Environmental Science.
- Universities of technology that offer environmental science certificates, diplomas or degrees in technology. The courses at these institutions will provide Lindiwe with a more practical exposure, which leads directly to a job or career in environmental science.
