All CIPC Company Registration Forms
- Application to Reserve a Company Name (CoR 9.1): To reserve a company name, there’s a fee of R75 for manual applications. However, if done online, the cost is reduced to R50 per transaction.
- Application for Extension of Name Reservation (CoR 9.2): For extending a name reservation, the filing fees are R30 for electronic submissions and R50 for manual filings. This must be accompanied by the required statement and evidence, as applicable, per Regulation 9 (2)(b) and 9 (2)(c).
- Application for Defensive Name Registration (CoR 10.1): Filing this application electronically costs R200, while manual submissions are charged R250. Applicants must provide evidence of a direct and material interest in the name.
- Application for Renewal of Defensive Name Reservation (CoR 10.2): The renewal fees are R30 for electronic filings and R50 for manual filings, along with evidence of a direct and material interest in the name.
- Application to Transfer Reserved or Registered Name (CoR 11.1): This application costs R75 for electronic filings and R100 for manual filings. It requires additional evidence as specified by Regulation 11 (1)(b).
- Notice of Incorporation (CoR 14.1, CoR 14.1A, CoR 14.1B, CoR 14.1C, CoR 14.1D): The filing fees are R175 for forms CoR 15.1 A, B, & C, and R475 for forms CoR 15.1 D & E, subject to allowed reductions. A Memorandum of Incorporation must be attached, and the fees are adjusted based on whether the company name was reserved or if the company is known by its registration number alone. - Memorandum of Incorporation Forms (CoR 15.1A, CoR 15.1B, CoR 15.1C, CoR 15.1D, CoR 15.1E): These forms, applicable for various types of companies, require a filing fee of R175 (for forms A, B, & C) or R475 (for forms D & E), subject to reductions. These must be filed alongside the Notice of Incorporation and necessary annexures.
- Notice of Amendment of Memorandum of Incorporation (CoR 15.2): The initial filing by pre-existing companies is exempt from the filing fee within two years from the effective date of the Act. Subsequent amendments cost R80 for minor changes and R250 for other amendments, with a R150 filing fee for proposed draft amendments.
- Notice of Amendment of Memorandum of Incorporation – Ring Fencing Provisions (CoR 15.2A): This filing, applicable when amendments change the ring fencing status, costs R250.
